Just a brief note here and a brief comment on the Great Race. No, I'm not referring to the TV show or the [edited after sanity and good taste trumped my evil twin...] - I'm referring, of course, to the race for the Democrat's nominee for President.
Wow.
That's my brief comment.
Actually, I do/did have more to say - especially about friend's who're are hell bent to throw their vote away rather than see Hillary Clinton elected as President. Those comments are posted elsewhere. Some of you know where that elsewhere is. I'm not linking to it from here because there are a few folks who read this whom I'd rather not find that other place. No, it's not you (it's that person over there, but don't say anything...), so don't get huffy.

Okay - poker. I've not played in a few weeks. But I watched an episode of The Best Damn Poker Show last night. Where has this been hiding out? It is absolutely hilarious! Nothing like watching Helmuth and Duke go at each other. What genius thought this up?
Players play for a spot on either Team Helmuth or Team Duke. How do they get eliminated? Annie and Phil watch play from the "Coach's Room" - they can see all hole cards - and if they don't like how you're playing, you get the boot. Hmmmm.... sounds sorta "super-user-y" don't it?
I'm just saying. Anyway, it made me laugh which brightened my day.
I've also been catching a few more episodes of High Stakes Poker. I was once pretty jazzed about this poker show, but now - I'm kinda "meh." Of course, I'm kinda "meh" about poker in general right now. Don't get me wrong - I still love the game - it's a few life issues that have taken my focus away for the moment. I look forward to getting back in the swing eventually.
Later! Gotta do some work now.
