Oh. Gosh. This weekend has been a total wash-out. I was full of inspiration and deep thoughts on Friday and intended to throw all of that into a post, but I've been waylaid by physical craptitude.
Two years ago in the fall I experienced the onset of a chronic muscle spasm in my neck. Yup. A literal pain in the neck. I underwent about six weeks of physical therapy which did nothing to abate the pain or solve the problem.
Two years, a few x-rays and an MRI later, it's still a mystery as to the physical cause of the problem. My entire neck area is now involved so, consequently, I am in constant pain.
The pain cycles from annoying to excruciating, triggering occasional episodes of migraine-like symptoms. This weekend has been all about the latter.
This is the long way of explaining why I didn't get to craft a post worthy of being read this weekend. Or do much of anything, for that matter.
I'm heading back downstairs to the couch and my Netflix flick. I hope your weekend was a far-sight better than mine.
