I'm fixin' to fire up the stove and cook up a Thanksgiving dinner. I'll pause here for a moment to allow those folks who know me well to stop laughing.

Ho-de-hum... wheedle dee... ok, done laughing now?

Yes, folks, I am going to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner for myself and a couple of intrepid friends. Thanks to the good folks over at foodnetwork.com, I found some recipes for a quick and easy menu that at best will be fantastic, at worst be interesting.

Tonight's task will be to whip up some pumpkin soup. Something I've done before a long, long time ago. Tomorrow will be the main event. I'll be sure to capture some pics - and maybe attempt some live blogging. Who knows...

In the meantime - I wish all my internet friends a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you're able to spend it with the people you love.
