Phase out

One of my favorite shows, Stargate SG1 is back from hiatus. I have something to live for on Friday nights again.

But there are only a few episodes left until the gate wil be metaphorically closed forever. It's the end of the series. I just hope Carter and O'Neil finally get to do it.

At any rate, last Friday's episode had Sam initiating a device that could hide a whole village from the evil Ori. It worked on the premise that the device could shift matter into another dimensional phase, thus taking it out of this dimension and making it essentially invisible. Anything or anyone in this dimension would pass right through the matter in the phased dimension.

That's kind of how I've felt lately - out of phase. I've had a rough couple of months and I'm not doing a very good job of busting the blues.

I've decided to take a blog "leave of absence". Each time I've come to this space intending to share some words and time with you, I've abandoned it - inspiriation and motivation evaporating as sure as a puddle of rain in the desert.

I don't know when I'll be back. I ask you just tuck me in a corner of a drawer and check on me from time to time. I will, however, still be over at Pokerworks for the time being.

Sorry to do this after such a big ta-da about the new domain and such - further evidence of this "phase" shift and my impeccable timing!
