The above quote is why Linda is in the top of the list of my favorite bloggers. We can get all angst ridden about our presumed reason or reasons for blogging, but the bottom line is we're writing and there are as many levels to this medium of self-expression as there are ways to play A-Q off from under-the-gun. Ok, well maybe there aren't that many ways to play A-Q off, but you get my drift.
So. Wanna know what's been on my mind of late? Ok. I'll tell ya.
I want to get a tattoo. Why? Well, I've said to friends it's because I want to get back in touch with my bohemian self. That's only partly the reason. But, really? My sister has a tattoo. She always does the cool things first, and I always copy-cat. She's got the chinese character for the year of the monkey on her ankle. And I want one, too. Only mine is the year of the rabbit. I want a dragonfly, too, but I don't know where to put that one.
Oklahoma is the last state to legalize tattooing. I want one before I get wrinkly. Which isn't too far away.
That's what's been on my mind of late.
Oh. And wondering if anyone might want to join me on a pilgrimage to Otis' lawn...
