Long time poker reporters and bloggers, Amy Calistri and Tim Lavalli took a look under the WSOP rug in an effort to find out how a surplus over over $2 million chips ended up in players' stacks late in the Championship Event. Their methodical and logical investigation has resulted in Harrah's finally admitting culpability. It is my hope that Harrah's and Commissioner Pollack will recognize the need for serious evaluation and modification of procedures for the the WSOP. The integrity of the game is at stake and the players who (mostly) put up the cash to play in these events deserve no less.
