And, as sandy-vaginatastic as it sounds, I'll forever be grateful.

Ok. There's a poker-blogdemic happening out there and yours truly is about to break out the chicken soup 'cuz I'se feeling a bit rheumy myself.
G-Rob, F-train, Chad, Gracie - I'm with you all. I don't know if poker blogs are dying or just finding a new level, but I don't think it's any accident that those of us in the (at least) three year range of poker-blogging have reached the saturation point. We be pooped. But I'm not giving this space up yet. Why?
Mostly 'cuz I have particular interest in the blogs of those few folks who've become friends or who've been nice enough to include me in their circle of acquaintances. I get all tingly inside when I see a new post they've published and it doesn't matter what it's about because I know it'll be interesting because they are interesting people who I'm lucky enough to know personally (take that, you run-on sentence police). It's a way to keep the conversation going, to catch up with each other over the back fence, so to speak. But, by that same token, I also get jazzed when I find a new blogger who keeps me coming back for more for whatever reason.
As for myself, my efforts to poker blog have been stunted as of late. I no longer have that much to say about poker beyond the need to vent about it from time to time. I've resisted blogging about non-pokery subjects because, well, the blog is called Poker Perspectives and it feels weird to stray from the blog's original raison d'etre. Heavy sigh.
I really don't know what I'm trying to say here. I know I would be very sad to see certain folks' blogs disappear. Perhaps we need to give ourselves permission to remove "poker" and allow ourselves to be just "bloggers." I don't know. I'm just musing here...
