My buddy Fred says it best. Go read his write-up of last night's Wheatie round-up. I had no business getting as far as I did last eve. But I'm glad I did because I got to hang around and enjoy some great banter and I laughed out loud a lot.
Two flopped sets, one rivered set, a rivered straight, flopped quads and a well-timed disconnect by Mr. Wheaton nearly Varkoneyed me a place at the final table. But my donkey finally collapsed just short of the finish line and I was sent to the rails.
It was well worth the price of admission!
Sidenote to Jaxia and Dave (yestbay) - come on up to the Riverwind, the tables are pretty fishy and the Casino's pretty decent. It even has a buffet!
