In just about two hours the mega-bucked 2006 World Series of Poker Final Table will get under way. I've got my DVR set to begin recording the Pay-for-View coverage (TV or online is available) as I won't get off work until an hour into play. I'm looking to my pal Pauly to keep me updated until then, and during the event because I know he'll give me more than chip counts and whitewashed commentary
This should be interesting because there will be no hole cams so, in a sense, we'll be playing along, putting them on hands, pitting our mad skilz against these instant millionaires. Or prop betting like it's the end of the world.... What a ride it's been, no?
