I
certainly appreciate all the fine birthday sentiments from you good folks out
there. It was a dandy birthday, indeed. Very appropriately it thunder stormed
most of the day, then cleared in the early evening to bright sunshine.
My day kicked off with a call from friend Pauly and then I lazed around with the TV while the rains washed everything clean. I then treated pals to dinner at a local east indian restaurant (I LOVE Chicken Tikka, hummus and pita). Afterwards, we met at my house and I was treated to a home-made OH-so-orgasmically chocolate cake and gifties. We dispatched a couple of bottles of champagne and a great time was had by all.
At some point I will return to this blog on a regular basis. I'm still doing a little moonlighting, but am now also on some medication for the chronic muscle spasm in my neck and shoulder which I expect will have me shutting down earlier that usual in the evenings. We did x-rays today and then we'll decide if an MRI will be needed. It doesn't appear to be a disc problem - good news. But, bad news, short of injecting morphine, I'm in constant pain and it is taking its toll.
But this gives me a chance to give ya'll a heads up. The URL for this blog will soon be usurped by another endeavor. Actually, it's the original endeavor that created the URL "www.kebzweb.com" in the first place, which entails web-design stuff - specifically, my skillz as a CSS "mechanic." SO - now's the time to change your subscription, bookmarks or any links in your own blog roll you may have pointing to me to "www.pokerperspectives.com."
The change-over will be happening in about a month or so along with a long over due overhaul of this site. I'll keep reminding you. And now's a good time to thank ya'll for sticking with me. There's not very many of you - what I get in a day the you-know-who's out there get in a hour - but even if it were only me, I'd still be here... plugging away at whatever suits my fancy.
AND I have to thank the good professor for hosting this site and setting up the mirror for the change-over - he's a champ.
