Since about the middle of February, right about the time I climbed back on the ol' poker nag, I got a free $25 from our old pal Empire Poker.
I took that $25, sat down at a ring game and whittled it away to $11. I said, "Fuck this" (yes, I say "fuck" and "shit" and "damnit" and even "fooey" - I'm all inclusive) and took that $11 to the SnG tables.
From then to last night I've played 14 Sit-n-Go's at Empire. 4 at $11; 5 at $22; 2 at $33; and 3 at $55.
I've had six 1st place finishes; three 2nd place finishes; two 3rd place finishes; and a 7th, an 8th and a 10th place finish.
It's only been that golden at Empire. But I'm not complaining. Would you?
Post Script: Empire took the $25 back for not meeting the bonus requirements.
