*Blushing* here... thanks to the commenters re: the Missive. You are part of a very small cadre of readers who stop by here from time to time and I am eternally grateful for your support. I'm doing what I can to conquer the angst which arises every time I consider posting - the seed of which was planted a few months back by a source which will remain unnamed. The angst had grown into an insidious weed, impervious to my attempts to be rid of it... but because I'm not ready to be done with this blog, I decided to rev up the weedwhacker.
BG's response gave me an extra can of gas to keep it whacking (oh, boy have fun with that metaphor). He helped to remind me that this is my blog, and what I say here will (mostly) be mundane, at times peppered with pomposity, on the (very, very) rare occassion profound, and intermittently personal.
The important thing I had to remember is this blog is a repository for my thoughts, feelings, ideas, experiments, rants, raves, remembrances, and a whole lot more yet to be discovered. I won't "nail" it 100% of the time, but the 2% I do - well, that's enough to keep me at it for the time being.
