Description and Duties of Job:
Will prepare various blog posts centering on poker theme and related anecdotes. Develop easy-to-read, understandable hand histories including bad-beats, suck-outs, and/or detailed analysis. Agonize over personal set-backs at the poker table. Craft astounding human interest stories and insightful theory posts. Ability to shameless shill for online poker rooms a plus. Real-world and virtual writing experience on poker preferred. Prefer 0-1 years experience with Blogger or similar blog generating software. Working knowledge of Limit and No-Limit Texas Hold-em is needed; Omaha & Stud (including variants) knowledge is a plus.
Note: Ability to provide enough content to completely destroy workplace productivity will result in immediate hire.
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
To be able to create effective poker blog posts, applicant must know when to hold the cards and when to fold them. Must understand the optimum time when it is advisable to walk away or when to depart in haste.
