I'm sure the folks over at six-apart are good folk with good hearts and big brains. But why in the hell can't they create a simple tutorial that can take you step by step through modifying, oh, say, your comment system? I've scoured the internet and can't find anything to help either.
I've got the initial template done - did that by deconstructing the HaloScan comment html. But once the submit or preview buttons are clicked, things get real messy. I need something that tells me in plain language - "if you want to do this, then do this. Step 1, step 2, step etc." Uniitl such time, I'm doomed to trial and error, which is extremely time consuming and aggravating.
So, until I figger it out - HaloScan will pick up the slack. I do like to hear from you - even if from time time time I have to put my ego in check and turn 'em off. I've missed you terribly.
On the poker front, I had another bout with the downside of variance. Another very frustrating session at 3/6 at the T-Bird. So, I am invoking another mantra just for these live sessions:
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in - go home.
When you double your buy-in- go home.
