I've been toying around with an idea for a while now. Last summer I played around with audio blogging via the phone, that was fun, but I lost interest quickly. Reading Wil Wheaton's posts about his book readings have intrigued me; and then reading Pauly's recent post describing Wil's readings of his Lying in Odessa posts at the BARGE banquet kinda inspired me.
So, I'd been thinking about it and when I got home from work I started poking around on my computer to see what I had in the way of software capable of doing audio recording. Not much there. I could do it via the "Movie Maker" ware, but it sounded like crap. The Windows audio recorder only gives you a minute which wouldn't do.
In the meantime I got in an IM conversation which included podcasting and such and I thought "boing" - google some software resources. Long story short, I found some free stuff, downloaded it and went to town.
