Is it time to hang it up when you sit patiently, folding, folding, folding, rags after rags after rags, and then you get a hand - pocket KK and you are in late position and raise it up to 5x the big blind to make the 4 - 5 crappy hands that merely limped in before you at least think twice before calling and 2 of them call and the flop comes K xx (with the blanks suited), you check and the guy next to you underbets the pot and so you go over the top all in and he calls and when it's all over you hit a full house but he hit quads off the pocket pair he should never have called a 5x the big blind bet with in the first place and it's the second time in 4 or 5 hands you've seen quads and for the past couple of days all you've experienced is one bad beat after another with amazingly crappy hands hitting over and over and over and over and over and doesn't seem to matter any more what limit you play, people are playing really crappy and it just gets weary because the variance is outrageous and it for the moment it just isn't fun????
