I may be taking a pause from poker again, but this time it will be due to a long-awaited release of Myst IV - Revelation. Well, it's release is "any minute now", but in the meantime, I'll be spending time with a Myst derivative Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. This is the only computer game I've ever played, save for Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy which I first played on a 'classic' Apple computer and was/is a text based game.
Myst grabbed my attention because it centers on worlds which are created by their being written and are accessed by "linking" books. Right up my alley with my love for reading. You are on a quest as you gather clues and have puzzles to solve along the way. The graphics are phenomenal and, now with DVD, the interaction has gotten more realistic.
So, if I am conspicuosly absent from the poker tables for a while, you'll know what's occupying my time.
