.50/1 Limit table at Poker Stars.
9 at the table - UTG folds; I'm looking at AJ and I limped - I considered raising, but didn't do so because this table had been funky and difficult to put folks on hands - anything could have called the raise and I wouldn't have an idea where I was.
EP calls, next 4 fold, SB calls, BB checks. Flop comes A K K. The SB & BB check. So I'm looking at a strong 2 pair, no PF raising, so I bet. EP calls, SB folds, BB raises - now I'm concerned - I'm putting the BB on Kx or Ax - he could be looking at 2 pair same as me, or he could have just made a set, if he made his set, I'm wondering why he didn't call and wait for the turn to raise...and so I lean heavily toward him hitting 2 pair and wanting to win the pot right there - BUT I remain cautious and called and EP calls as well - which doesn't help - that leaves three of us to see the turn which brings a Q (A K K Q) and puts 2 suits on the board.
BB bets, I really hesitated here, I was losing faith in my hand and figured I'd bungled playing this hand from the get-go, and, again I called. EP raised (!) and BB re-raised (!!) and out of frustration, mind you, I folded - thought at least one of them had made a full and my 2 pair was garbage.....EP capped it and BB called. Now I'm sure there's a FH and the river comes (drumroll) A !
They check the river and showed: BB had K Q for a full house, Kings full; EP had J T for the straight; and I tossed what woulda been the nuts aces full.
